Reviews and Ratings
The hotel gave us the feeling of diving into another time and space with beautiful rooms and an amazing view, though smaller than expected. The location is perfect, central, by the canals, near top restaurants, and close to major attractions. The service was super friendly and professional, even accommodating an early room request. The dining experience was good, especially in a city like Amsterdam, but the daily options got a bit repetitive. Overall, a lovely stay with some minor room size concerns.
My stay at the hotel was delightful overall. The rooms were stunning and authentically charming with a breathtaking view. They were compact but exactly what we needed, with thoughtful additions like tea/coffee, water, and milk in the fridge, along with full-size toiletries and a fantastic hairdryer in the bathroom. The service was top-notch, with a very professional and efficient staff who also remembered to wish me a happy birthday, making me feel truly valued. The location was excellent, being close to various attractions like Anne Frank's House and easy walking distance to many places in the heart of Amsterdam. The lively surroundings did lead to some noise late into the night though. The dining experience was a mixed bag, as the morning breakfast left a bit to be desired for the prices charged.
The hotel had some positives like friendly and helpful service, great location near landmarks, and live jazz in the cafe area. However, there were issues like noisy rooms with less spacious feel and not as advertised in pictures. Breakfast became repetitive and limited, but the quirky signs and mini breakfast option were charming.
I had a delightful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely, with a fabulous shower and spacious layout. The service was exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The location was fantastic, surrounded by great attractions and restaurants. However, the dining options were a bit pricey, and the facilities could use some improvement.
The hotel offers clean and well-thought-out rooms with a buzzy eating area and friendly staff. It's compact but meets our needs. However, there were some issues with noise on the second morning. The location is superb in the canal district and close to popular attractions, though it can get noisy with DJ music. The dining options are hit or miss, while the service is exceptionally kind and welcoming.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were stunning, very stylish with vintage touches, and had all the amenities I needed. However, they did feel a bit dark and claustrophobic at times. The service was exceptional, the staff were particularly welcoming and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from Dam Square and Anne Frank's house, making it super convenient to explore the city. The dining experience was a bit basic, but the Moroccan pancakes were a delightful surprise. Overall, a fantastic hotel with a few minor downsides.
The hotel is wonderfully located in a quiet, lovely neighborhood on the West Canal ring, perfect for strolls and close to popular attractions. The rooms are cozy and offer a unique 'cosy' feel due to limited space around the bed. The service was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The dining experience, especially with fresh fish options, was delightful. The facilities provided added convenience and comfort to the overall experience.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, especially with the fabulous rain style shower and luxurious toiletries. However, being on the first floor facing the canal had some privacy concerns if the drapes were not closed. The service was top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to assist and provide a warm welcome. The location couldn't have been more perfect, surrounded by exciting shops and within walking distance of all the tourist sites. The dining experience was a bit of a mix-up with missing deliveries one day, but the Greek traditional products were a unique touch.
